They said it could cost an additional 100 dollars per gallon to remove & dispose ot the diesel. There were 15 gallons in the car. I found Tech 1 on line & decided to find out what they would charge & what type of shop it might be. I went in at opening time only to find a meeting going on with the owner & staff. The owner, Fred, interrupted his discussion to speak to me. I explained the situation & asked if he could repair it & if so about how much. He immediatly said " we will repair the car for 150 dollars" & do it today. They had the car at 9:30 am. Fred called me at 4 pm to have me come & pick it up. The car is perfect again. This shop is exactly what everyone hopes to find when they need their car repaired. Fred & staff are experts in these matters & the most honest people I have ever seen in a auto repair shop. It is easy to get the work done & you will feel you got what you paid for in every way. This should be the industry standard. If you want integrity go see Fred.

  My wife's car all of a sudden had her dashboard gauges go haywire and was not looking forward to getting it fixed since I knew it would be expensive. I saw the reviews on this website and decided to try my luck with a new mechanic. Suffice to say, I dont trust many mechanics and went into the shop expecting to get over charged and taken advantage of. Let me be very clear.....I have never run across such thorough and complete dianostic check than I did with Tech1Auto. Dropped the car off, got a call later in the day and when I got there, received a 14 page dianostics that was extremely thorough. Needless to say, I have found a mechanic that will always work on my vehicles and would highly recommend anyone that has been burned in the past to check out Tech1Auto. You will not be disappointed in the least. Thank you Tech1 Auto

  I first went to Tech 1 after being told by another garage that I needed a new a.c. for $1200. Tech 1 fixed it for less than $50 and it lasted for another 2 years befor the expansion valve gave out. I appreciate the honest information I get from these folks and the quality of the work they do AND they give you a 36 mo/36,000 mile warranty on repairs! Amazing! They are the best garage I have ever dealt with.

  I was very happy with my recent visit to Tech 1 Auto. I knew that my timing belt needed replacement at 90K miles and was nearing 100K miles. Also with the extreme temps in the desert I didn't want to risk it. I made an appointment and brought it in and they were very thorough, giving me a full estimate of all of the things that they found that needed attention with my Toyota. They were very honest about which items needed attention now and which ones could be "put off" for a little while. They did a courtesy vehicle inspection and found that my battery was getting towards the end of its life and informed me of many other things that I was not aware of. They did my timing belt, water pump, fan belts, and oil change and were the most reasonably priced of the 4 shops that I received quotes from. I am very satisfied with the service I received from Tech 1 Auto and will continue to go there in the future.

  I came across Garagefly.com when looking for a mechanic and saw that Tech 1 Auto had 39 reviews. All reviews were very positive so I called and spoke to Fred and explained my problem(s). I've never run across a mechanic as thorough and honest as Fred as everything I mentioned he had checked and called to let me know his findings. As we were going over the items, he asked which I wanted taken care of and he proceeded to fix them. One item that I thought was a major concern turned out not to be a problem at all and this alone has made me a customer that will go no where else. I have found a mechanic that I feel lucky to have found. I highly recommend Tech 1 Auto to anyone that needs automotive repairs. You will not be disappointed.

  Our Subaru had reached 70k miles and needed a lot of scheduled maintenance work. Fred put together a list of everything that needed done and prioritized it for me so that I wouldn't have to do everything in one shot if I couldn't afford it. All the work was finished on the same day and Fred even showed me the old filters and ran down a list of everything that was discovered. I have been using Tech One since 2005 and they have worked on a number of vehicles for me. Most of it has been scheduled maintenance, but they have also taken care of some accident repair for me. I have always been treated very well by all of their staff (Maria is WONDERFUL!) and have always felt that even if the prices weren't the best in town, it was fair and reasonable. The work they do is always done right the first time and I never have to worry about being shortchanged on service. Since I first started taking my vehicles to Tech One, I have moved more than 60 miles away from their shop at Thunderbird & Loop 101. Even so, I STILL take all of my vehicles to them because I know that I will be treated well and get everything that I pay for done right. I highly recommend Fred and his crew to anyone who needs maintenance or repair work done, no matter how big or small the job.

  Before I was laid off from my job I used to take my truck to our company's auto shop. I was always satisfied but my discounts were lost when we quit business with them. I found Tech1Auto on garagefly and chose it due to the proximity of my home. I am sure glad I did! Fred was very professional and explained everything up front. My window on the driver side had stopped working and I didn't realize how annoying it was until I went to a drive up window - awkward. Their prices are reasonable and much, much less than the estimate I got from the dealer. I have been back 3 times since. The rental car is a plus, especially when most of my friends are still working, lucky dogs...I don't usually do reviews but I had to do this one, I would have gladly put my own stamp on the survey they sent!. I have found a place to take my truck and be confident in the service I will receive. Other shops could take lessons from them! BK- Peoria

They offered to help me out and look at my last repairs and they got me a rental car with in about 20 minutes. WOW! My father has been a self-employed mechanic/ towing service for the last 40 years. I have never had to worry about my vehicles, but when I moved 1500 miles away I had no idea what to do. I have had some issues with some repair shops. I am happy to say that I know longer have to worry! Everyone at Tech 1 Auto is awesome. When I ask a question, I get a real answer. Every time I leave I get full details of any other issues that I will need to address in the future with estimates. I feel very well taken care of at Tech 1 Auto. Thanks

  I am visiting my daughter from out of town. I told her that my mechanic in CA told me that I needed brakes. In the meantime, while I was here, my daughter told me of her mechanic that was very reliable. I took my car to Tech 1 Auto for a lube and oil change. I asked him to check my brakes. When I went back for my car, Fred said," My car had plenty of lining and didn't need brakes!" Today, I had my car serviced for a flushing of three different parts of my engine. The receptionist said "Your car is going to run much better and the gas mileage will improve." When I took my car onto the freeway, it did run exceptionally much better.   Being a new resident of the area, I find it important to discover merchants that are knowledgable, professional and honest--Fred and his staff at Tech 1 Auto meet my standards. I I have had my car serviced there twice recently for two very different situations--one, a major investment in maintenanace, and two, an unexpected minor emergency.   After attempting service at Sanderson Ford and Camelback Lincoln Mercury, we were blessed to learn about Tech 1 from a friend. Spent over $2,000 on "attempted" repairs at the dealerships and Tech 1 fixed everything for half that and actually did the repairs. What a great experience, accurate quotes and the quality of work was outstanding.

I received a quote from a dealer and tech 1 quote was almost half the price withthe quality second to none. Finally, they provided a convient rental car service to avoid any intruptions in your day. it is annoying to have your car break down, it is nice to have a pleasant experiance getting it fixed

Couldn't find a lead so they moved my car into a drive bay and inspected it from the fuel tank all the way to the injectors. Didn't find a leak and instead of trying to sell me something I didn't need like other shops do and charge me an inspection fee, they actually took their own time and inspected it!! This shows me that this is a shop I can trust and I will come back if and when I need anymore repairs on any of my cars!! I will also advise any of my friends that need car care that this is the place!! Very friendly and family oriented place. Very clean shop too! Very very professional! Can't say enough of this place! A+++++ from me and I am in the customer service field and know great service and this is the place!!

  I would recommend Tech 1 Auto to an family member or friend! Yesterday afternoon my AC stopped blowing cold air. In Phoenix, AZ during the summer months nothing is worse than no AC. I will and have recommended them to everyone, including my employer who maintains 2 vans and a truck. I especially appreciate their honesty as a woman who is not extremely knowledgeable about cars. What a relief to find a mechanic (Jim) and a garage (Tech 1 Auto) that I can trust!!

They explain any problems with your car in plain english and perform the repairs promptly and correctly. I have taken both of my vehicles as well as my girlfriend's truck there and each and every time they perform above and beyond my expectations. Their prices are fair and the quality is superb. I have found my mechanic for life!
