  Shadow Mountain is the best. I have been in multiple times and will always go back. I needed a light bulb fixed and I was charged parts - about $5. Toyota wanted to charge me $85. They are honest and won't tell you to service a part if it is not needed. Today they fixed my headlight - was unplugged and they didn't charge me a thing. A really awesome garage and great to support a small business!

  I have taken my three vehicles for service and have been pleasantly surprised by the candid and truthful way in which I have been treated. I deal with people everyday and in my opinion, this shop is very much different from the stereotypical auto shop. They have people who know what they are doing and if what they do doesn't finish up just right they will fix it. They are making difficult for me to want to have any other mechanics I will use.

  Shadow Mountain is our neighborhood repair shop. Mostly everyone in our neighborhood has their cars fixed there. Curt and his mechanics know their stuff, they are polite and courteous, and their garage is always clean. They are very honest. Our experience has been that our final bill has never exceeded what they quoted. They are good at having the car ready when they say they will, and they do not do the work until you authorize it. If it is something they cannot do, they will tell you that too. They tell you what they find, and are not pushy. When we bought a used car, Curt offered to look at it and evaluate it for us. When I was in LA with my daughter, and had car trouble, I called Curt and he advised me what to do. Shadow Mountain goes above and beyond -- they deliver personal service and are absolutely the best garage ever. We trust them completely!

  We have taken both of our vehicles to SMAS. One is a heavily used older work truck. They have done a fantastic job helping us maintain it. It has needed quite a bit of work and they have been good about informing us on our options as far as what needs to be done now and what will need to be done. They are the only shop of about 10 we have been to that knew how to fix a serious problem with tire wear. We have refereed family and friends here because they always provide top quality service with the highest integrity.

  I read the reviews on GarageFly about Shadow Mountain auto service. I made my decision to give them a try based on all the things I read. I certainly wasn't disappointed ! I needed a new blower motor for my AC and they communicated with me throughout the day when they needed my OK on my cel. I liked that very much. I told my husband to take his truck there and I will tell anyone to go to Shadow Mountain. Plus, the LABOR COSTS were fair and reasonable on this repair.

  This repair shop is the best ever. Everyone is polite, understanding, honest and fair. The work performed is always more than satisfactory and completed in a timely manner. I am always given an explanation of recommended services to be performed prior to the start of the work. They operate with a level of honesty and integrity that is above reproach.   I was the first customer of Shadow Mountain Auto Service when they opened their doors. The owner Curt is very personable, very knowledgeable, and above all else, fair and honest. I've since been back whenever my jeep is in need of servicing, I have referred friends, and feel his professionalism in handling the problem is hard to find. Try him like I did and you won't need to shop around for a mechanic again. Too bad other small business owner's don't run their businesses as Curt does, where the customer is actually first.   Curt, his wife, and their crew do a fabulous, courteous, affordable and professional job every time I take our vehicles in. I never get overcharged, upsold, or given the "girl treatment," unlike at dealerships and drive-through oils change joints. I prefer to solicit local businesses, and it's so easy to keep coming back to Shadow Mountain because they always do a great job.

  Curt and the guys there are the best! I had my brake pads changed in December and they started squeeking about a month ago so Curt had me bring it in. He changed the rotors at cost (no labor charge) and put new pads on the back tires. No more squeeks so what's not to like? I had also taken the car to someone else who said I needed new belts and hoses, but when Shadow Moutain checked them that was not the case nor was it warranted by the manufacturer at this time (I have a BMW).Overall I am very pleased with the honest assessment of this company, and the location just off of Shea and the 101 is very convenient.   If you ever need any work done on your vehicle, this is the place to go! Curt and his staff are honest and full of integrity. I went to a difference shop before finding Shadow Mountain and they told me I needed a complete brake overhaul. After Shadow Mountain looked at my car, they gave me the honest response that nothing at this time needed to be done. How often has a shop ever told you it would be a waste of your money to get work done right now? It's never happened to me either...until today! If you ever need anything automotive done, this is the only place you should go! I know it's the only place that will ever work on my cars again!

  I was referred to Ted and Curt by a friend and can honestly say that I will NEVER bring my car to a Toyota dealership again, unless SM goes out of business. The honesty and compassion you see in this shop can not measure up to any other. Their knowledge is unquestionable and superb.   I recently took my Mercury to SMAS to have rear shocks installed. I sat in the very nice waiting room while the work was being done and listened to the courtious way other customers were treated as they came in. The job was finished when they said it would be and the price was right. Curt & Ted are very friendly, professional guys and I have recommended them to all my friends. With a rating of 5, I give them a 6!

  From the moment I stepped through the front door I felt comfortable. Curt was very informative and only did the work they felt necessary, not the entire list I brought in that another repair shop said I needed to have done. The lobby and shop were clean and inviting. In the future, all of my automotive work will be done at Shadow Mountain Auto Service. :)

  I must say the people at Shadow Mountain Auto Svc. are VERY professional. My business vehicle was at ANOTHER repair shop where it was diagnosed wrong. Heard about Curt and the good work he and his staff do, I immediately called a towtruck and had my vehicle towed to Shadow Mountain Auto Svc. Curt worked on it from 6pm till 8pm and had it running like a top. I was back in business the next morning. Curt has my total confidence and respect.

  Our Pilot was in for the needed 30 k maintenance. The staff was always courteous, the truck was done when they said it would be done, the price for the work was extremely fair, and the work was professional. I would recommend Shadow Moutnain to anyone.
