  I took my 2003 Trailblaser to SSC to investigate an air conditioner issue. Problem was it did not cool well at idle and low speeds. SSC investigated, added a touch of freon. Then explained that the problem could be the fan clutch, but the condenser coils were filthy, filled up with bug goo. Suggested I clean the coils myself and see how the air conditioner worked. If it was still not cooling, then bring it back and they would investigate the fan clutch further. I cleaned the coils and the air conditioner works fine. SSC could have ripped me off by charging for this and that, but they didn't. They are honest, hardworking folks who have all of my business.

They said it was no problem, they'd be happy to fit me in. Didn't make me feel stupid. They literally did get me right in, and finished promptly. These folks are so honest and ethical--I would trust anything they told me about my car.

  I've been taking my cars to these guys for a couple of years now. They are very honest and I feel that I can trust their diagnosis. They do very fast work and the work is done correctly. It does seem like they charge a bit more than others, but they tell you the price up front- no surprise charges that are so common in this industry. Very good shop.

  Our car was making a real loud rattling sound when it was at idle and then evern worse when the A/C was on. I had it looked at by several shops and they didn"t seem to know were it was coming from. SSC Auto Repair looked at the car and did some collabrating with their people. They hit the nail right on the head and fixed it with out doing all kind of other expensive repair before finding the real problem. The repair was a broken flexplate. Thank you SSC.

  This is the third time I have used this garage to service my vehicle. I had seen their advertisement in a copy of our local community magazine. The first time in, they checked over the vehicle and said there was no charge as there was no indicated problem. The second time in they serviced it at minimal cost, and again when I took it in the third time. As a senior citizen, I can honestly recommend this business to all seniors (and others) that are looking for a competent, honest garage to deal with.

  I brought my truck in for a clutch repair. This problem was identified, quoted and fixed promptly for a reasonable price. An additional problem was also identified that would not stop my vehicle from running but would eventually, if left unrepaired, leave me stranded. The price that they quoted was much less than the price the Toyota dealership had quoted two years ago, so I decided to finally have this problem fixed. The truck is running better than it has in a long time.

Not to mention they will never charge you for something you don't need or agree to. Got a car out of the shop today and am very happy, result and cost. Siegle's is very honest and trustworthy and they do great work! They will tell you what needs to be be done now or what can wait a few months.   I had a broken timing belt and I had gotten different quotes of $2500 to fix it. Justin told me that there was a chance it may not be as badly damaged as the other shops had quoted but wouldn't know until they got into it. A half day later he called and told that it was done and that that they only had to replace the timing belt, no other damage was found, what a relief. My truck was done quickly and at a reasonable rate. I believe I have found a shop I can trust for future issues with my vehicles.

  My car's check engine light turned on over the weekend so I called my father who suggested SSC Auto. I was a little nervous to be without a car for more than a day since I have classes that I can't afford to miss. I brought my car in around 9:00 a.m. Tuesday morning expecting to not get it back in till the next day with a hefty check. To my surprise I was able to pick it up that afternoon and it turned out it was nothing. They were extremely nice to me and didn't even charge me for the to reset the indicator light. I have visit SSC Auto a few times now and I'd would suggest it to family and friends, it's fast, cheap, friendly, and they get the job done right.

  SSC was recommended to me by a few people in the neighborhood. I needed a 30K check on my car, Nissan dealership wanted $550 and SSC did the same work for $275. Friendly customer service and got my car back in a few hours...even on a Saturday! Definitely going back when I need work done in the future.

  Response: (8/20/09): In response to Ms. Sweeney’s review, we would first like to state that we are troubled any time someone is unhappy. We at Siegele Service Center have been serving the East Valley for almost 20 years and have a following of devoted customers. The unfortunate element of this complaint has little to do with the repairs we did originally but with repairs Ms. Sweeney thinks should have been done. We replaced Ms. Sweeney’s transmission in August of 2007 and that repair was done within two days for the exact amount quoted. In addition, the transmission installed in her vehicle has since operated correctly. Ms. Sweeney came in for a rear main seal estimate in March of 2009, and she now believes we should replace it for free. The rear main seal was not leaking at the time the transmission was replaced, as we would have repaired it then. We are not the type of shop to increase customer charges with unneeded or unwanted repairs simply to make a profit. We believe ardently that our customers have worked hard for their money, and we repair vehicles with that in mind. We are dedicated to making sure every customer’s vehicle is repaired correctly the first time—every time.

  Very friendly service - I wouldn't be writing a review if that weren't the case. Justin was very professional on the phone and in person. As this is my only vehicle, Jake gave me a ride home. He was also very professional. My AC wasn't blowing at all, my radiator was leaking and my brakes were squealing - all fixed same day. It's nice to find a dependable service.

  I took my Ford Escape to SSC for an oil change and to find out why the engine light was on. It was also failing on exceleration. Justin got things setup for me for Friday. After changing the oil, they ran their computerized diagnostics and found that Ford had put the wrong spark plugs in the vehicle from the factory which caused major problems that would run, on the low end $1500 to fix! He called and said this repair should be covered under warranty and after taking it to the dealer where I bought it, it indeed was going to be covered! If anyone is looking for a good, no great, honest place for auto repairs, I would highly recommend SSC! Not only did they take me home after dropping off my vehicle, they picked me up to return to the garage to pick it up! More than the dealership I ended up taking it to for the repairs was willing to do, at first! I had heard from friends of mine of the high quality of service and honesty at SSC and now I'm here to tell you first hand that everything they told me was true! You can bet they will have my business from now on and that I will be recommending them to everyone I know! In this day of big corporate dealerships and chain repair shops, it's nice to still have a privately owned place that you can rely on. Kudos to Justin and Adam who chaufered me around today! I'd also like to add that there was no condesending attitude because I was a woman either! Things were clearly explained and didn't make me feel like I didn't have a clue what was going on!

  My grandson has had his pickup in twice. The first time was for brakes. They had previously been done in Tucson, and he was charged a large amount for brakes, rotors, the works. They were so bad already and found that the rotors had not been done originally. After being taken care of through SSC, they felt like new again, and for less money. The second time was for shocks and again it felt like a new vehicle. Instead of using the cheapest parts, they ask if you want to use a better grade which will give you better service. It was not that much more and at least it was our choice as to what we wanted to spend. I would rather pay a little more now and have them last longer, than for the cheapest parts to be used and then wonder why they went bad so fast. The service was very fast since I had already made a reservation to take it in both times. Also, friendly and informative.

  We had a brake problem and a problem with a power window. These were diagnosed in a short period of time and repaired in an appropriate amount of time. SSC today, as they have been every time, was lower than dealers with their pricing and very nice to work with. They do the work they say they are going to do and they do it in a short period of time for the price that they quote beforehand. There are no "surprises" when you go to pick the car up. We have always been very happy with their service and we take 2 family cars to them whenever we need work done.

  SSC was able to do everything the dealership can and even recommended I get my wheels done so I can be safe on the road. They were friendly, organized, and provided transportation so I didn't have to wait hours. They have a good parking lot so I didn't have to worry about finding a space.   I have used the services of SSC Auto Repair on 4 occasions. I have always been very pleased with the service, customer care and results. I feel strongly that the people who work here are honest and well trained. I have checked around and am sure I received a more than a fair price for parts and sevices.The shop also offers discounts to repeat customers. I had the entire air conditioning system replaced on an older truck. SCC went above and beyond by performing detailed checks and alternative services for this repair at no charge to me. I promptly took a "new" used car just purchsed to SCC for a check up. They were thorough and explained any small problems they found, without being pushy. They even recomended that we wait until my warranty was established before repairing things so that I would not be paying out of pocket and waiting for a check from the extended warranty company. I have heard glowing reports from many people about SCC. I trust them fully. They have been happy to drive me home when I drop off my car. Always so friendly. They are great about calling to give me an update, explain options and answer any quetions. I have had some awful experiences when dealing with repair shops. It is wonderful knowing everything is going to be done properly, at a fair price, and that I am going to be treated as a valued customer. Needing car repair or maintenance can be pain free!
