  Martin’s Auto Repair located on the NW Corner of 16th Street and Osborne is a class act. They do a comprehensive checkup on your car in less than 45 minutes and offer a detailed estimate of each item that needs to be fixed. They honor the quoted price and do the job without going over a cent. The shop floor manager and the mechanics are very courteous. Dave, the owner, runs a very clean and efficient work environment. They also give you a free ride back home and call to pick you up when the job is done. I was having a problem with a leaking radiator on my car. I took my car in on a Friday morning for a checkup. They replaced the Radiator, Hoses, Thermostat, Water Pump and Valve Cover Gasket for a fair price and got my car back in shape the next day. My colleague at work referred me to Martin’s Auto Repair. You can trust them to do a thorough quality job at reasonable rates.

He tested and diagnosed and found out that the cooling system was really working properly, despite what the gauge said and therefore, didn't end up having to fix anything. They gave my daughter a ride to her apartment and then came back to pick her up when the work was done. Amazing! An honest man at an honest auto shop! Thank you! They will get all of my business over the next three years my daughter is in school in Phoenix!!!!

As far as servicing my vehicle, I have been using Dave's business now for 4 years and refer all of my friends to Martin's Auto. You will find respect, an organized shop, and a full understanding of what is being done to your vehicle.   I was experiencing issues with my A/C in the middle of June in Phoenix. Needless to say, with the temp being 105+ outside, the problem needed to be fixed immediately. I made an appointment at the nearby dealership early in the morning and was expecting the bill to be approx. $500. The guy handling my car gave me a call a few hours later and told me that it would be about $4,000 (yes, thousand!!!) to fix my car. After looking at garage fly, I decided to get a second opinion and went to Martin's because it had 5 out of 5 on every single review. Well, I am here to give it another 5 out of 5! I experienced amazing service. I called right after hearing the horrible news from the nearby dealership and they said they could see me as soon as I was able to drop off the car. Scot gave me a call a few hours later and let me know that it would be $375 to fix my A/C and another approx. $500 to fix other misc. things wrong with the car. What a difference! A $4,000 bill compared to a $975 bill. I compared the items wrong with the car from the dealership to those that Martin's found and they were almost identical...just a HUGE difference in price. Not only was the price amazing, but the service was stellar and all of the guys in the office are so nice. I will never bring my car anywhere else and would advise anyone living in the Phoenix area to bring their car here first!

  I was looking for a reputable company since I recently had a bad brake job. I found Martin's Auto Repair online and went to the BBB to check their rating which was an A+ and had NO COMPLAINTS. I like to support family-owned businesses and from what research I did, they seemed like they would stand behind their work. Our vehicle was not safe to drive when we had it towed in and Scot out service rep kept in great contact with us on what issues they found and was upfront with the cost for the repairs and breaking it down so that I could understand what repairs were needed. My vehicle is working great and once again feels safe to drive. They even told us what repairs we may need in the future and quotes so that we can plan it into our budget! I would definately have repairs done there again. Thanks!

  I recently found Martins Auto Repair on Google and couldn't be happier. The price for repair was VERY reasonable. But price is not why I am writing this review. I just want to comment on the friendly and knowledgeable staff. These guys are COOL. My past experiences at auto shops have been less than questionable. They did not pressure for the "up-sell" and just gave typical recommendations. I would and already have recommended them to friends and family.

  Ok, so I'm a little late in posting this review, but I promised I would, so here it is. Several months ago I was experiencing problems with my brakes. I took the truck to a nationally know brake shop with a golden name. I got a quote to fix the brakes. $2500. After the paramedics restarted my heart, I told the guy I wanted to get a second opinion. My wife found Martin's online and we researched their performance, finding this site and the great reviews. So, I took the truck to Martins. I was expecting a similar number, so, imagine my surprise when it came in much lower. Adding to that an Oil change, transmission service, brake pads and servicing, the total came to just over $700. The best part was actually talking to the service guys who were informative, helpful, polite and great to work with. Actually reviewing several months later, my truck runs great, the brakes are fine and I am very happy. I will be returning to this shop for future work.

Everyone in the shop is customer service-oriented & friendly. I appreciated the fact they didn't try to "up-sell" me on work I did not need or to give me more than I asked for. They gave me an over the phone estimate based on the symptom I described. My passenger side window stuck in the down position. Scot ordered the part ahead of time so when I got there, they went right on it. The wait was minimal although they have a very clean shop so it was a pleasant wait. The repair price was as expected.   Not my first time using Martin's Auto Repair. Have always been impressed with the owner's and all staff members there. They care about your car and your safety. I am a single mom and I usually check out the oil change after I've had one done to make sure there's enough oil in my vehicle. These guys have me so comfortable that I never check it anymore. Prices are very reasonable and you could eat off the floor at that shop. I would not hesitate to send anyone to this shop. They are worth my drive of 23 miles for all my auto service needs.

Beyond fixing the immediate issue, they also carefully checked the entire vehicle and advised me of maintenance that was needed in the near future. I highly recommend them!

He gave me an estimate of the cost,which turned out to be correct. I brought the car in in the morning, and they had it ready in the early afternoon. They gave me a ride to and from my home. Martin's has kept my cars running for about 20 years now. I don't buy new cars, and I keep a car as long as possible. Martin's always lets me know what to prepare for in time and money.

  I moved to Phoenix 3 weeks ago only to have my car die on me the other day. Being new to the city, I had no idea who I could trust to be a reliable repair shop. After reading the glowing reviews on this site for Martin's Auto Repair, I managed to get my car started and over to Martin's. Not only did they call me 2 hours later to explain what was wrong with my car, but they also gave me a ride home after I dropped off my car. 24 hours later they called me to tell me my car was fixed. Once again, they picked me up and brought me to the garage so I could get my car. I would recommend Martin's to ANYONE!! They have AMAZING customer service and are the nicest people. I couldn't be happier! My car is now running great :) too!

  My husband and I started taking our vehicles to David several years ago, and because of the excellent customer service and quality of the repair work performed on our vehicles I wouldn't go anywhere else. David, his father Dennis, his wife and the the rest of the crew are great people and excellent communicators. Prices are reasonable and there are never any surprises. Once I even left my debit card on their counter and his wife dropped it by our house the next day. When we were looking for a new (used) vehicle for my husband, David took the time to talk with us about the track record of various makes and models, and for a modest fee checked out a truck we were considering. He gave it the a-ok and we haven't had one problem with it for four years. On my most recent visit for an oil change I told them about a strange noise I was hearing after running over some road debris. They located the problem and fixed it for what I think is about 1/3 of the price a dealer would have charged. I believe in supporting locally owned companies, and I know that we are getting the very best service and repair work at Martin's.

  My Envoy has over 103,000 miles on it and I brought it to the guys at Martin's auto. They did a 41 point inspection and advised me of some minor repairs. I picked up my Envoy a day later and it drove like it did when it was new. In fact, I referred a friend of mine to them and they saved her over $1,000 in unneeded repairs. The guys at Martin's Auto are honest and do what they say they are. I could not have asked for a better experience.

  Im happy. Prices seem fair, and they found and fixed the problem right away, where a big name shop had failed to even find the right problem. They wanted to sell me various extra preventive maintenance procedures that they could do, new tires, etc... that I hadn't come in for, but they weren't pushy about it, and they were right. I do need new tires and the car needs more taking care of. I will come again.

They are always accurate when recommending service or repairs needed in the future. I have found out a couple of times the hard way when not following through with thier recommendations. They are honest. They have always been courteous and have prvided me transportation home and to work when needed. I would highly recommend Martins because of their integrity.....
