  I have been taking every car you can think of to Larry Harker's over the past 20+ years now. Bob and Ellen have always made the needed repairs at the lowest price. Every time. No unnecessary repairs or add-ons. No returns to the garage for faulty maintenance--or any other reason. Ever. Simply put, Larry Harker's Auto Repair is the best garage I know--and the only one my family and I trust with all our vehicles.   Front blower stopped working. It's June, about 108 degrees and I have 5 year old twins. I REALLY needed my AC to be working. I had my very tired, active boys with me, I was hot and frustrated, they were kind and patient. They quickly arranged for me to get a rental car with low, shop rates and had my blower fixed at a reasonable price and quickly the very next day. They called me in the morning with a price and approximate time my van would be ready. The price was right on (not higher when I went to pick it up) and they called me a few hours earlier than expected to tell me my van was ready to be picked up. They are the best. Honest and good service. I highly recommend them.

  My vehicle would not run and was in two shops. One shop tried for 2 days to fix it without sucess. The second shop (a dealer) had it for 2+ days without sucess. I took it to Larry Harker's in the afternoon and they diagnosed and fixed the problem by the following morning. It now runs great. They were very professional and answered all my questions. I will definitely take my business there again. I'm glad I found them.

  I am so glad that I found Larry Harker's Auto Repair. My first experience with them saved me from having to have an engine rebuilt or buy a new vehicle. They are people you can trust. Every time I have been there, they give the best service at the best prices. There are never any "hidden charges" that suddenly appear on the bill. I would recommend them to anyone.

  I mostly do my own auto work, but every so often it gets beyond me for one reason or another. Usually if it goes into the electrical/computer system, or is transmission related. And usually when that happens, I anticipate a catastrophic bill. In this case, the problem was a bad connection between a sensor and the computer. I couldn't figure it out. They had it diagnosed and fixed pretty quickly and for much less than I had expected. They also figured out what was causing another computer related problem, but I didn't have them fix that one. The thing that I like about this shop is that they always tell you exactly what they are going to do, and call you back whenever another decision needs to be made. It isn't like the dealership, where you put in your car, and hold your breath until it comes out the door, never knowing what they had to do or how much it will cost you. And another thing about this shop. They are very good at diagnosing, and fixing. I have been there 4 times now with 3 different vehicles, and never had a problem with any work they did afterward. If you are looking for a good mechanic, this is a good one to consider.

They took the truck to EMM's, had it retested with a new cap and it passed. This saved me having to take the truck myself and showed me Harkers is honest. They can be trusted to do the right thing.

  I have taken all my vehicles to Larry Harker's for the last few years. They have always provided me with phenomenal service! They are a shop you can trust and are owned by VERY honest people! I just purchased my 06 Lexus and I was sure to take it over to Larry Harker's BEFORE I went through with the deal. They looked it over for a reasonable price and gave me the ok on the vehicles condition. They gave me a peace of mind about my purchase! I recommend them to anyone!

  My 1998 Plymouth Neon is about 11 years old and as all cars age, they start having problems. It had a pressurized oil leak, which made itself visible after driving. I had to put oil in it almost every day. As a recent college graduate with no job in a tough economy, car repairs can be nasty. I went to Larry Harker's Auto Repair after doing some research online via garagefly.com. The receptionist at Harker's was very friendly and helpful, both on the phone and in person. The repair technicians were also very friendly, knowledgeable about car problems, very professional and detailed. After the repair, they advised me that if the oil leak continues, to come back and they'd correct it. They even spotted another problem that my car was having (I was aware of, but didn't have the money to fix it). Unlike other auto repair shops, I left there with a peace of mind, feeling that I had made the right choice and that my car was in good hands. It's been a month and the oil leak has not come back. I will definitely consider this place for the other problems my car is having. Thank you, Larry Harker Auto Repair. Your service is superb!

I started with Larry Harkers when i was in Palm Springs, CA ... i am here Henderson, NV for three years now. They ALL are MASTER AUTO REPAIR MECHANICS, PROFESSIONAL and HONEST in every respect. It is so nice to know good people in this day and age. I RECOMMEND THEM in the highest sense of the words !!!

  I have been using Larry Harker's Auto Repair for the past few years. I recently took my vehicle to a different garage that was recommended by a co-worker because it is much closer to my home. I had to have my car towed back to this shop three times for the same problem but the last time they told me it wasn't the same thing even though it was having the same problem as before. I decided to have my car towed from the far east valley to Larry Harker's because I knew he would be able to tell me what was wrong. After looking at my vehicle for only a few minutes the mechanic told me that it was indeed the master cylinder, which was what I had taken it to the other garage for three times. The other garage said it was no longer the master cylinder but now it needed a new clutch. Larry Harker's garage had recently replaced the clutch in my vehicle and the clutch wasn't giving me any problems. Larry Harker's Garage replaced the master cylinder and I haven't had a problem since then. I have never had to bring my vehicle back for the same repair twice. I would highly recommend Larry Harker's Auto Repair and will not go any place else again. My vehicle is always done in a timely manner and everything is always explained before repairs are done.

When I arived I noticed how clean the shop looked. They were fast and very friendly. I appriciate their service. They also took my car back for the emisions retest so I didn't have to. They make repairs in a timely manner and always explain what needs to be done before work is completed. We have even had them tell us that what we thought was the problem was incorrect and that the actual problem was much, much cheaper than we expected. What a treat for us. I would highly recommend this garage.
