  Dans is the Best! One of the most important things for a business is it people, and the people at Dans are wonderful. I mostly dealt with Brenda my who wrote my estimate, and Donna at the front desk, but if the rest of your people are half as good as them then you have the best team on the planet. The workmanship of the repairs speaks volumes for the knowledge and skills of your repairmen. The car is perfect. I have to say I hope I never need a body shop again, but if I do you can bet I’ll bring my car back to Dans.

They kept me updated throughout the entire process; I received calls telling me when my car would be ready for pickup as well as what work was scheduled to be done. They answered all of my questions, despite the multitude I had! Due to work schedule conflicts, I had a hard time coordinating a car rental. They made sure I never had to contact the rental company; Dan's employees took care of it for me to make things more convenient for me! I would recommend this place to anyone!

  My car was damaged by a local carwash and my whole back end was smashed in. I was referred to Dan's by a friend who had nothing but positive things to say about the quality of their work. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and once repairs on my car were started they kept me posted on the progress of the repairs and my car was returned to me by the date I was told. They went above & beyond by educating me on the manufacturer paint defect of the original paint job on my car that was causing premature oxidation. With this newfound information I was able to get the car dealership where I purchased my car to agree to repaint my car. I would highly recommend Dan's to anyone in need of body repair work.

Brenda contacted me frequently throughout the 10 days they had my car to keep me updated on the status of repairs. I picked up my car 6/22/11 and they did a beautiful job and guarantee the parts for as long as you own your vehicle. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs auto body repairs. Great job!!!!!

Dan’s came back to pick up my car, dropping off the rental at the same time ( Very convenient for me, because I am disabled) Stayed in touch with me as the repairs were performed, and finally delivered my car back to me and taking the rental back.   I don't usually write reviews, but that is how I found this body shop when my Tahoe was stolen and ended up in Tucson, about a five hour drive from where I live in Flagstaff. Between the reviews others had written, the Better Business Bureau, and my insurance company I decided that I could trust these people. So thank you to all of you that wrote reviews. Dan’s was an excellent choice. Everyone I met from Dan to Brenda to the last person (I’m sorry I missed his name) that put my license plate on for me, were fantastic and just plain great people. Oh, and by the way, the Tahoe is as good as when I last saw it before flying out of Phoenix. It looks and runs great!

They worked through various obstacles such as making sure newer parts fit and matched the body of my ’89 Celica and dealing with the other driver’s insurance. They skillfully matched the paint job and cleaned the vehicle, allowing me to continue having pride in my little car. It looks better than it did before the accident. Even with a slight delay, they had my car repaired and done in the time they originally told me. I was so impressed with their workmanship and their staff. The recommendations were varied, but the BBB report is what I chose to base my decision on. There were no negative reviews. I can only say that I was so very pleased with the service and friendliness of the staff. Brenda is the best. She was always ready with an answer to my many questions. And, she always had a smile as well. The repair was expertly done. There is NO sign of the previous damage. The paint was perfectly matched. Overall....Great experience for a difficult situation.

  I had an awesome experience with this company. I've never had to get body work done on my vehicle before and this was a perfect first experience. They were all so nice, I arrived and was greeted very friendly I met Johnnie who was in charge of my body work. The receptionist called a rental car company and had them get everything ready for me. They gave me a ride to the rental car company and the young lady who did was so nice. Johnnie called me everyday with an update on my vehicle and went over my vehicle with me on the day it was done. They washed and vacumed my car it was so clean when I picked it up. They even arranged to have my rental car picked up at their shop so I just came left my rental picked up my car and was on my way. I had an awesome experience everything was fast I got my car back earlier than expected. Their service was above and beyond and I will always use them for anything else I may need in the future everyone I encountered their was just nice and friendly. Their office is beautiful and they have a beautiful friendly dog that roams around the office shes so sweet. I never had to wait and their customer services met my expectations and I have high customer service expectations.

Two mentioned Dan’s so I decided I’d get an estimate from Dan’s.” “As it turned out, Dan’s estimate was reasonably low, but I really chose them because Dan and one of his employees sat with me and explained the whole process of dealing with an insurance company’s claims personnel. I was not being treated fairly. And I didn’t know it. “ “Once I selected Dan’s they took over the whole process of dealing with the insurance company. Dan’s got the proper amount of money from the insurance company (the insurance company offered me, initially, about half of what the actual repair cost was), and repaired the vehicle perfectly. Further, throughout the whole process, the personnel at Dan’s kept me informed with ‘phone call and emails.” “Looking back I realize that I couldn’t have successfully completed this repair process without Dan’s. I simply turned it over to Brenda at Dan's and didn't give it another thought until it was ready. They have always done a remarkable job for me, but this time it seemed even better. My pristine 300ZX is once again in beautiful condition and all repairs were done thoroughly and neatly.   Very disappointed with Dan's and will never use them again. They fell down in every catagory of service, despite a big marketing pitch about their body work, as well as service above & beyond body work. Nothing but hot air. Careless body work...had to be brought back (so far) three x to get it right....rough handling of the car while in their custody, including scuffing of interior, and rough handling of personal objects left in car. Do yourself a favor: stay away!

  Response: (11/18/07): I spoke with this customer prior to the repair and he informed me that he was referred to us by one of our past customers who had also written a review on this site. During Patrick’s second and only visit I listened to all his concerns and personally took care of each one as well as compensated him for his lost time even though,some of his concerns had nothing to do with the repair or as he stated “rough handling”. Everybody makes mistakes but it’s how you take care of them without inconveniencing the customer and understanding that the customer always comes first. This type of customer service started over 35 years ago when Dan opened his doors and that’s why it’s the only way we do business today.

  I recently had a minor accident pulling out of my drive way and side swiping my sister car on a Saturday afternoon. I called my insurance they took all my information and let me choose a body shop. I’ve had and heard of plenty of bad experiences all over town so I chose wisely and decided on DANS. When the insurance let me know my adjuster would be contacting me the following Monday. As Monday came along the adjuster called several time but so did DANS! I was surprised they had already known about the car and was anxious to get it fixed. My sister had decided to bring hers there as well. We both showed up and they kindly offered water as they brought up our paper work. They began to explain every paper and asked if there were any questions and answered every silly one I had. They had our rental information ready and everything was set. The following day they gave us a shocking call to let us know BOTH cars would be done by Friday. I was in shock, the same accident had happened to my sister car on the opposite side which took 3 weeks at a different body shop. I was pleased already! As the week went on the inform me of the estimates and making sure all our concerns were met. Brenda who was the one in charge of our cars even brought my sisters to her job because she was working a mid shift and would not be able to retrieve it. When I went to pick up my car it was glowing! Everything was fixed the whole car was shiny and extremely clean. As I opened the door I felt as if I had bought a new car! Everything was polished and vacuumed and smelt wonderful!!! In the event I ever do have a fender bender which I’m hoping is never, I WILL go back. The customer service was above outstanding!!! And to top the end my day their manger helped me with an issue I had with my rental company. He took time out of his day to help a customer who was paid and done. Thanks Brenda and all of Dans Paint and BODY. My sister and I love our cars and the way you fixed them!

Brenda was very attentive, I felt like I was her only customer. She called when she said she would, she followed through on everything. Brenda and the staff made phone calls to get my rental car ready even called for them to come pick me up. Brenda and the staff made a difficult situation much easier for me.   This is my second repair with Dans, and I cant say enough good things about the shop and their employees. Brenda was my contact person once again; she always kept me informed. Every step was addressed to me and they even expedited the service on my truck, when my insurance company started acting like jerks and even under these circumstances Dans kept their cool and stayed on task. I appreciate the hard work, honesty, hospitality and respect that was shown to me. When you walk into Dans you dont get the feeling that people are above you, right from the get-go you are awknowledged and offered a seat in their air-conditioned waiting room and a beverage of your choice. To say they are nice and professional is understatement...they're not that fake kind of nice...as though they are being paid to be! Instead you get a sense of them being truly genuine and symphatethic to you because they know that you're not there to visit, but more for business and you can tell that they understand that you had a choice in who you entrusted with your automobile and that you chose them. You are not treated as a number or a profit, it has a family feel to it! I appreciate all the great work and effort from Dans...Thanks Brenda and it was nice meeting you too Dan.

  Brenda & Ashley at Dans Paint and Body made this very unpleasant incident almost pleasant. The moment I walked in the door of this business it felt as if I had jsut walked into a good friends' or a family members' home. I was greeted by these two cheerful young women as if they have known me for a long time, I felt comfortable and trusted them with my vehicle immediatley. A tour of the shop amazed me. The shop is so clean that I wouldnt hesitate to eat off that floor and I must say, much cleaner than any hosptials I have ever worked at. Brenda and Ashley are organized multi taskers ( in a good way). The entire time I was there they were busy busy but I was nevefr left feeling as if I wasnt there. They immediately offered me a cold drink, which I desperatley needed after a 2 hour drive. It is obvious why this shop has such high volume. Brenda told me "just leave everything to me, I'll take care of everything" and she most definately did. I had a horrible time with the Progessive insurance adjusters and the the guy that handled my claim but Brenda assured me and made communication with them easier. If I could I would certainly give these girls a big bonus. although my repair wasnt a huge money maker for this company, these two girls definately deserve a raise of some kind of reconginition form the owners of this company. It is easy to see that the employees of Dans Pain and body are happy employees and that they enjoy working there so kudos is in order for the management of this company. The repair on my vehicle was exceptional. the color match is perfect and workmanship excellent. It looks as it did when it was new.I guess the most important thing during this experience is how I was treated by Brenda and Ashley, how they made me feel at home and took control of everything and got the job done quickly and efficently. I definatley will reccomend thsi shop to anyone I know needs auto body work. Actually I have already started bragging about this shop.

  I just want to take a moment to tell everyone how GREAT Dan’s Paint and Body is…from having the vehicle towed after our home owners association told us we had to get our car off the street before they towed it, to the completion of repairs. Dan’s Paint and Body exceeded all expectations: Who knew hitting a javelina could cause so much damage? But Dan’s Paint and Body took a horrible man vs. wild situation and turned into something that seemed second nature to them. The repairs to our Saturn look great and the turn around time was amazing. We were only without our car for less then a week. Even at the time of pick up Dan’s Paint and Body was just as friendly and as helpful as they were right after the accident. With so many choices on St. Farm’s preferred body shops I don’t know why anyone would want to take their car any where else. I will defiantly refer all our friends, family and co-workers to Dan’s in the future. Thanks again Tiffany, Brenda and the rest of the staff at Dan’s to a job well done!!! As a real estate broker for 30 years in Tucson, I know how important it is to first of all do the basics well, then always exceed your customer's expectations. When I was told that Dan's needed my car for 3 or 4 days I thought of a trip coming up a few weeks later, and that I would be gone for 5 days. They took me to the airport, then delivered my car 5 days later at the airport 3 hours after their normal closing! Let's hope I don't need future body work on the car; however I will refer them to others knowing that they will be as satisfied as I am!

  Dan's Paint & Body is the BEST!! From the moment I walked into their facility I was impressed... Friendly staff, clean office, and cold beverages while you wait. Ashley took great care of me, and she definitely went above and beyond! She arranged for Enterprise Rental to pick me up, gave me updates throughout the week regarding the status of my car's repairs, and she answered any/every question that I asked with a smile. During my repair, I chose to have my whole car re-painted instead of just the panels that were damaged. Dan, the owner himself, talked with me and worked out a plan that was within my budget. When I got my car back a week later, it was PERFECT! It has not looked this good since I bought the car! And to top things off, Richard, the General Manager, took care of my rental car - he returned it to Enterprise and worked out a deal with them to save me money! That's what I call service...it really dosen't get better than that!! I recommend Dan's Paint & Body to anyone who is looking for a repair shop. They've earned my business for as long as I'm in Tucson. :)

  I have used Dan's Paint and Body and they have always provided top notch quality work. I believe that you get what you pay for in the auto repair world, but Dan's is actually a bargain for the quality of work done. They are the only body shop in Tucson I would trust to work on my Ferrari - they did an excellent job - and I highly recommend them if you desire attention to detail and a complete and trouble free experience. They can be rather busy at times, however I actually prefer that they take their time to do a proper job than to provide a lackluster result common to so many other places.

  My Dodge 1500 was stolen on 06-01 and was recovered and towed to Dan's for an estimate and extensive repairs to the exterior body and interior. From the moment of my first contact with Dan's estimator, Brenda, I found my experience with them to be the very best and most helpful possible. They were sympathetic and supportive, which was, of course, not something a body shop is required to do. But the most impressive aspect of my experience with them was their attention to detail and thorough repair and their success in restoring my truck to its pre-theft beautiful condition. I have always kept my truck immaculate, and when I picked it up today, it sparkled like new, and all the needed repairs were done with such expertise that you could not tell that such extensive work had been done. My truck once again looks like new, and I am very grateful to all the folks at Dan's. They are, in my experience, the very best.

When I walked in, and enjoyed a comfortable lounge and complimentary beverage, as well as a positive experience with the employees, I knew I wanted to do business here. Rest of car has original paint and all of the repairs were flawless both in color match and quality. This is the sixth time that I have used these folks services without complaint. The first time was some fifteen years ago when my classic 1968 Mercury Cougar XR-7 was sideswiped. They matched the three year old original paint color perfectly. This repair was finished a day early as to originally estimated. Having been into classic cars and as a retired firefighter --- you know how we are about the condition of fire trucks --- I consider my apraisal of Dan's to be of good quality. LRCoulter@cox.net

  I had been sandwiched between two pickup trucks. The front and back were badly damaged. I had a previous extremely good experience with Dan's and went to them right away to make sure my car went back there. Brenda Camacho, my Consultant, was fantastic. She interceded with the other guys insurance company and helped get things moving. I had my car dropped off and driving away in a rental car very quickly. Because my car was like new before the accident I was very clear that I wasn't going to be satisified with anything else. I didn't need to worry. The car is beautiful. They tried to repair a bumper cover as required by the insurance company. When Brenda reviewed the work, she wasn't satisfied with the way it looked, so they went back and replaced it with new. They used genuine Lexus parts. The paint job looks original. I am very very happy as this is my "Baby" they were working on. Brenda called frequently to let me know what was happening. I would go back again without hesitation and would recommend them to anyone. My best friend was the one to recommend them to me after they worked on his Mustang.

We had two experiences in November 2008 and December 2008 where our 2007 Dodge Charger was involved in minor "fender benders", both not our fault. We were referred to Dan's by friends we "met by accident", and now, while we don't want to be frequent customers,(smile), we are customers for life with Dan's Paint & Body, in the event of life's "accidents". My vehicle was rear ended and from the moment I stepped into the office, their staff treated me with courtesty and professionalism. They make you feel as if you are their only customer! Ashley quickly reviewed the damage and based upon her expert opinion felt that I should not be driving my vehicle since the rear tail light was out and I could receive a ticket if stopped. She contacted the insurance company and received approval for a rent a car, contacted the rental car agency and had them pick me up so I was not inconvenienced at all! She was also great at updating me on the progress and when I might receive my vehicle back. They actually completed my vehicle two days a head of time. I really can't say enough positive things about them. It's nice to see there are companies out there who believe in customer service! Thanks Dan's!!!!

  My experience with Dan's was great. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and Ashley reviewed several repair options with me after seeing the damage to my Altima. There was a supplier problem between Dan's and their Nissan parts supplier which could have caused a significant delay in finishing the repair, but the technicians and Dan's were able to repair an existing part, and still get the work done on time. Since our original agreement was that I would have that part replaced, and it was repaired instead, the staff at Dan's reduced my bill by 10% to compensate for this change in what they delivered to me. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with the quality of the repair, and even more impressed with the dedication of the staff to get the job done right, and on time.   We were out of town from Denver visiting my sister-in-law. A neighbor's friend backed into our car while it was parked in front of the house. It was hit pretty hard, requiring over $4K in repairs - not a small fix. Not being familiar with body shops in Tucson, the insurance company sent us to Dan's. This turned out to be the best experience with a body shop I have ever had. I can't say enough good things about Brenda and how we were treated at Dan's. We were pressed for time to get home and Brenda and the team went out of their way to have the repairs done in 4 days - much earlier than was estimated. The repairs were great, the car was cleaned, I left the shop with a smile. I have a TR6 that needs a little body work and new paint - if Dan's was a little closer to Denver, I would have taken it there last week.... Thank you Brenda, thank you Dan's!!!

Dan's stood up for what was right, negotiated everything on our behalf, and we ended up with a very happy ending. Not many shops care enough to really take care of their customers. This is to be applauded. This is the second repair they've done for us. The first had a very tricky paint matching job which they did perfectly. The accident damage was undetectable. The second repair made a 5 year old car look brand new with zero defects. The folks there are very customer service oriented and friendly. They are highly recommended.

Cassandra was the person who got me an early appointment and hasseled with the insurance company when they tried to give me the run around. Brenda kept me updated the entire time and when I called her she always took the time to answer any and all questions no matter what she was doing. This shop is all about being personal and it shows, I was greeted on a first name basis and showed respect in my whole dealing with them. My vehicle was delivered just like Cassandra said it would be 5 DAYS. They even washed my truck for me...not once...but twice (scheduling issues with the insurance) and not that $4.99 special either...I mean I take hours to clean my truck from top to bottom, inside and out and the carpet itself hadnt been that spotless since I first bought it two years ago. I want to thank the team down at Dan's Paint and Body and especially the people who took extra care of me. If I ever need another repair...no question they are the one for me!

The estimate is exactly how much I ended up paying, the repair literally took 10 minutes so I was charged next to nothing for labor, and everyone who worked there could not have been friendlier. On top of it, every person I spoke to was a woman, from Cassandra the receptionist to Ashley the technician repairing my car. As a woman, I've never felt more comfortable dropping my car off to have work done. Not that either sex does a "better" job than the other, I just didn't have the uncomfortable feeling I usually get at car places when it's all men. Just thought I'd share that tidbit. I would absolutely recommend Dan's to anyone and everyone I know.

  I needed to get my rocker molding changed, it turned out that I needed to get a hard to find non standard rocker part, one shop I had previously visited, required me to search for and buy this part in order to get it fixed by them, yet another shop would not take the job (they complained about having bad experiences in the past with such parts). But Dans body shop handled this pretty well, they suggested ordering the part, and doing all the work required on it, before bringing in my car, so that my car spent minimal time at the shop. There was also a shuttle service. There was a little hitch though, they either forgot to fix one screw (or the screw fell off), so I had to go back there, and they fixed it promptly. For all these I give them five stars, and would recommend them to anyone, a totally good experience

Ashley explained in full detail what was going to take place. So I took my car in on a Monday morning and I had it back that Thursday afternoon. The paint job in perfect, you would never know there was damage to my car. They also detailed my car, inside and out. I was totally impressed with the work quality and customer service. The quality of the repair was incredible, it is definitely an advantage to use a repair shop that is recommended by the insurance company. I highly recommend this shop and would definitely take a vehicle to Dan's for body work again (although I'm hoping I won't have to!).

  Dan's Paint & Body: a professional shop. Forms were filled out promptly, information about the shop's work, warranties, time frame were all explained carefully. The staff is supremely confident and well-versed in collision repair (my particular reason for being there ScionXb*) and dealt directly with the insurance company handling my case. They also coordinated with the rental facility to provide me with a car for the time the car was in the shop. Their estimated time was exact in my case. The staff was courteous and friendly. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing paint and body work for their car. (Please notice I put in Highlander as the model as the Scion Xb is not avaiable as a choice. Update please!)

  My daughter hit the back passenger side of my brand new car. I took it to Dans for an estimate and from the time I walked in everybody was very nice and very helpful. Even though the insurance company wouldn't approve all the work that Dans said needed to be done, Dan's did the work anyway just so that I would be happy with the results of the finished product. I would not hesitate to take my car there again if I had to. They kept me informed as to what was going on and at what stage of repair they were at. You don't get customer service like that any more. I am very happy with Dans.

  My son moved to Tucson about a year and a half ago to go to school. Since then his car has been broken into 4 times. After the initial break-in, he happened upon Dan's Paint and Body for the repairs needed, and has since gone there for the subsequent repairs. The staff at Dan's has treated my son so well, making the repairs timely and the costs have been reasonable. My son has had only great things to say about his experiences with Dan's and says the facilities are top rate!

  Dan’s Paint & Body was absolutely terrific!!! I was in a rear-end collision with my brand new Nissan Altima and the dealer suggested that I take it to Dan’s to have it fixed. The whole rear part of the car was wiped out and I thought it was going to be totaled. After the staff helped me get into a rental car, Dan’s worked really close with my insurance company to do what was right with my car and they decided it could be fixed. I was quoted a timeframe of 5 weeks and after 2 weeks I was given a call that it was ready to be picked up. I was so surprised! When I got there, it looked brand new again! I couldn’t even see any sign that it had been wrecked. It was really amazing! So needless to say, the staff at Dan’s Paint & Body was very helpful, thorough and friendly. Their quality of work was dynamic! I will recommend Dan’s Paint & Body to all my friends and family, and anyone who needs autobody work. Thank you Dan's!
