  My 22 year old Mercedes, has not even reached 100,000 miles. I garaged it while raising my kids, and have babied it for years. It drove the car recently from the Pacific Northwest to Phoenix. Other than it's normal maintenance, were issues of parts that were just wearing out with age, starting it was tenuous, air conditioning not working, etc. I brought my car in on a week-end. The mechanic was not there, but I had to go to Seattle the next day. On Monday morning, the head mechanic, Jack, phoned me after having gone through the car carefully. He explained thouoghly what some of the problems were, and what he recommended. 2 days later, I was informed that it still seemed like there were injectors that were stopping the car from flawless performance. I went ahead, long distance, and told him to go ahead and do what it needed. I came back to Phoenix a week later, it was 114 degrees out. It was Jack Bridwell, the owner, who actually had to show me exacly how to work the air conditioner. Since it's service at Bridwell. by car has never started better, run smoother, or felt as flawless as it does now. The people working on it are perfectionists (what you want in your auto mechanic and surgeon), those that work at the station seem to be a team, who understand the stress of car problems, the Owner takes personal interest and responsibility, prices are competitive. I don't know how I'll be able to travel knowing that Bridwell Auto is only here in Scottsdale.

  I took my vehicle to Bridwell on Saturday asking them to take a look at it. When They opened the Hood and told me it wasn't drivable or I'd blow the engine one of the owners started calling rental car shops. I was really upset because this was the last thing I needed but They could see this so they really helped me out. We finally found a rental shop that was open and offering a decent rate so they drove me up to Scottsdale and Shea so I could pick up the rental. After my car was ready they had someone follow me to drop off the rental car then I dropped her back off at the shop. They went the extra mile helping me get a rental then dropping it off. The owners treated me like a friend and valued customer.

  Bridwell knows cars and I do not. I do know customer service and fortunately, for their many customers, so does Bridwell. When I moved to the Valley four years ago, I had no idea where to take my car for service. The experiences I had in the past left me wary of mechanics. I am fortunate to have found a company that provides exemplary customer service along with automotive expertise. The technicians at Bridwell explain point by point and in understandable language, what service needs to be done or not done as the case might be. I thought I was facing major problems .However, when the technicians at Bridwell Service Center looked at the car it was just a simple and very inexpensive fix. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting honest, dependable, quality automotive service and excellent customer service.

  These guys are the best! I was visiting my sister and had driven 750 miles from San Francisco. Not only did they fix an alternator problem back in August when my car broke down 10 miles out of Phoenix, but they also gave me incredible service with a simple oil change a week ago. My sister, Robin, who lives there, suggested that I go to them for my alternator problem. I was hesitant, since I hadn't been working and didn't want to get ripped off. But she said that these guys were honest and I got a great price and super service on that alternator. Then, when I returned for the oil change before a 1,500 road trip, they treated me as though I had spent $1,000 instead of a simple $39.95. They took well over an hour with the car, washed my windows, and then showed me everything they did with the work they did. I have been used to a Jiffy Lube. What a difference! Jack is remarkable as is everyone else. Will be happy to use them anytime I need help while in Scottsdale. Deborah G. Jenkins

  I had squeaky brakes and asked them to check them to see if I needed new pads. They called me back three hours later and said they were just noisy and didn't need changing...unless I couldn't stand the noise. The pads were at 40%. I chose to leave them until it was truly time so I went to pick my car up expecting to pay at least for labor but NO CHARGE was the bill I was presented with. Not only are these guys honest but they are beyond fair. And the icing is that my brakes don't sqeak anymore!!!What auto repair shop do you know of that puts customer relations truly above making a fast buck? I highly recommend these guys. Plus they have apprentices at their shop! They are teaching others! How great is that?

My other car is a Mercedes 600 SL which is also serviced by Bridwell and I will never go anywhere else even if it means driving 120 miles each way. That ought to say it all.   ATTENTION LADIES: Would you like to have a trusted mechanic? Would you love to feel confident that you weren't being "taken" by an auto repair shop? Would you like to have someone else pump your gas? Then Bridwell Automotive is the only place to go. The quality of service and repair at Bridwell is first rate. You can trust them to tell you exactly what needs attention on your car and will fix it right the first time. There are no hidden or unexpected costs and the repair time is very quick. Their Service Manager, Jack Lindsay, is attentive, courteous, friendly and very patient when describing needed repairs. He will work with you, your schedule and your budget. Remember the gas stations of the 1950s and '60s? Bridwell Auto Center reminds me of those: kind, courteous and honest people who genuinely care about the quality and integrity of their service. Rest assured that you're provided first rate and timely service every time you drive in. I'm pleased my car has found a home with Bridwell Auto. I highly recommend!

  I have known Lane Bridwell for a long time and have always known him to do right by his customers. I have been taking my cars to them for over ten years. Jack is a the top notch tech that usually works on my cars, but Sidney is equally as talented. The best thing i can say is that they always tell you like it is the good and the bad and if it can wait until your wallet is a little fatter they will let you know. I never feel like they are trying to upsell me just to make a buck. They actually really do put the customer first which as most of you know is rare these days.

  I have been taking my business to this shop for several years. The service and technical knowledge from the mechanics is excellent. Immediate attention from the service manager 'Jack Lindsay' is an everyday occurance and always done with a smile and how can I help. Jack never forgets your name. Their prices are competitive and they never do anything other than what you and the Service Manager agree to in writing. When you pick up your car there are no surprises and all work is performed in a satisfactory manner. Over the years I have never had to take my car back for a re-do after the work was performed. Great Shop! Special thanks to Keith who will take you home and then pick you up when your car is ready.

  My husband had taken his aging Jaquar convertible to another repair facility and was told they could not diagnose or repair the air conditioning problem. He took it to Bridwell's and it was repaired within a few hours. It needed two pounds of Freon and they flushed the lines and now the a/c will freeze you out of the car! Excellent and very prompt service. I would recommend highly.

  I have always found Bridwell's service to be respectful, honest, quick and helpful. It isn't easy being in business and not having my car for a few hours, but someone always drives me to my office and returns my car when promised. I feel very lucky to have found them and will continue to use them forever.

  This is the only garage I will trust with my cars. About three months ago, my "service engine" light came on and I took my Tahoe in. They took excellent care of me, gave me levels of repair that were needed and those that were recommended and then performed the opted for work quickly. Then, last weekend I was coming off an epic road trip when the "service engine" light came on again. I assumed it was the "recommended" work that I had opted out of last time and dropped my Tahoe off expecting about a grand worth of work. Two hours later, I got a call saying they had changed my oil (past due and needed!), washed my car (1000 miles worth of bugs and dirt) and cleaned all my sensors which had resulted in the "service engine" light turning itself off. Turns out it was just dirty as can be and needed a good cleaning. Rather than up-selling me or performing unneeded work, this shop charged me for just the oil change (yep, car wash was complimentary!) and sent me on my happy, much relieved way. Of course, they can rest assured I and any body that ever asks me for a good garage will be back with this and every other car I ever own.

  I was told about Bridwell's from a friend about two years ago and have used them ever since the first visit. They have always taken time to listen to me and not made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. Being a single Mom I need a place I can trust and Bridwell's is that place. They have continually gone out of their way to save me money and give me options. I am so glad to have them for my repair shop.
