  As a single woman who does not know much about cars I am always weary of taking my car in. I brought my car in for an oil change and some other issues were discovered with my car, Taylor the manager explained to me what was needed to be done. I felt comfortable dealing with him and he was patient and answered the questions I had for him. I did not feel as though he was pressure selling me the additional work and felt that he was honest and again took the time to explaine what was needed and why. I will definitely be back and feel as though now I have a shop I can trust to work on my car.

  My car was running a rough so I brought it in. The diagnosed it primarily with two failing engine mounts and bearings. The prices they quoted me were cheaper than any place around and the work they did one my car was superb. I went back for tires and they beat everyone else price on those too! I'll deffinitly be back.

  I've been taking my car to Automasters since moving to the area several years ago, and consider them to be one of the few things I will truly miss about this state. They just completed a massive repair project on my adored car - saving it from the wrecking yard - in merely two days and for a third of what I had anticipated paying. They're the first and only truly honest, exceptional mechanic shop I have ever found, and I have only positive things to say about them. They excel at explaining everything about your car in a very concise, completely honest manner - no pressure, no sales, no gimmicks, just an honest assessment of what's really wrong and what really needs to be done. They provide the sort of excellent customer service and friendliness that's very rare in this world. If you're anywhere remotely near them, give them a shot, and you'll never take your car anywhere else again.

  My car was overheating after a very short drive of 15-20 minutes. I initially took my car to another place to get an extimate of cost to repair. This place had my car for only about 2 hours before calling me with an outrageous amount of $3500 to fix my car. I was at work and I mentioned this to my friend. He immediately suggested AZ Auto Masters. He told me many great things about the way they did business and about the cost of different repairs he had to have done. So, I called to be sure I could bring in my car that day, Saturday. When they were closing Saturday afternoon, I received a courtesy call saying that they were not able to look at my car and were offering for me to come pick it up and bring it back Monday. Since my car was unable to be driven I opted to leave it there. Monday afternoon, I got another call telling me the exact problem and the approximate cost. The mechanic, George, and I spoke about the various issues that were affecting the overheating problem. He asked if I wanted to get the car that night. I opted again to give them the time (without the rush) to comeplete repairs on my car. Tuesday morning, George called me again to tell me the final cost and the exact repairs completed. When I picked up my car Tuesday afternoon, I paid $215 for a radiator cap replacement, diagnostic time, and labor. Also, they replaced a part on the A/C unit that was leaking, filled the coolant and freon. I was also told that the radiator would need to be replaced before summer (estiamted cost would be $250-$300 for this). Not only have they fixed my car with a limited out of pocket cost they gave me great customer service, awesome attention to detail, and a desire to return with my car for later repairs. I will be me mentioning this place to everyone I know who needs car repairs.

  Found these guys on here from my phone. WOW! So glad I did. The last shop I was going to they were rude & overpriced. What a difference here. The manager George was very helpful, he got my vehicle towed right away, it was stranded on the side of the highway. They gave me a ride to pick up a rental car, and had the rear end in my truck fixed in just over a day! I called my old shop just to get a comparison on the quote and automasters was $200 less. The truck has never ran this smooth since I've had it. Unbelievable. The shop was amazing, very nice looking and clean. I also met the owner Mike & I feel very comfortable dealing with both these guys. They really care about customer service and gaining new customers. They have all my business from now on. Finally it seems as if I have found an honest shop thats affordable. I highly recommend them to anyone. Jake W.

  I have been taking my car to Mike for the past 3 years. Anytime I call or come in Mike and George know me by name and remember me as s person instead of a number. These two guys know how to use common terms to explain what is wrong with my car. The prices that they charge are the most reasonable you will find which is backed by excellence in work. The mechanics they have working for them are awesome! I tell everyone about AZ Automasters, as the best advertising is by word of mouth!   Our brakes were going out and belt was squealing. It was beyond our ability to ignore it any longer. My husband had taken the car in about a year ago to AZ Automasters because we had a flyer for a free oil change. At the time he said that they were really nice and didn't pressure him to do anything else to the car. We called this time and got in on the same day. For the work done we expected to pay double. Mike told us simply what needed work and what could wait. We truly appreciated the honesty and peaceful way that Mike worked with us. The office and waiting area look like a resort instead of the grime filled, solvent smelling repair shops of our past. It's said that, "a good reputation is worth more than gold!" Well, we feel like we've 'struck it rich' in finding this honest, pleasant repair establishment. "Yes, Virgina - there is a 'Santa Clause'" and now an honest repair place called "AZ Automasters"!

  Mike, the owner of AZ Automasters is in a class by himself. I have never had a mechanic walk me through the problems and options with my vehicle the way Mike does. Like always a great job for a fair price. I have been taking my car here since 2004 and have always been satisfied and I can trust these guys. Now that is a biggie for me.   My 88 Tbird does really well but just this past week, I encountered a few problems with it. I noticed that it was maked a clunking sound when I went over bumps in the road. It was obnoxious sounding. I got on garage fly and found Arizona Automasters not far from my house. I called them up and Mike told me to bring my car right in, that day! When I arrived at the shop, I explained what was going on and he told me (before driving the car) that the sway bar bushings sounded like they were bad. He had one of his technicians drive my car and sure enough, the bushings were shredded, literally. They swapped the bushings out with better ones and the car drives great. What's even better is the price that I paid. It's worth it to me to pay a little more for great customer service, which I received, but Mike got the job done for next to nothing! My car was in and out the same day and I wasn't taken advantage of whatsoever. I know the shop specializes in transmissions so I'll be taking it in next week because I finally feel like I found someone that will take care of my vehicle in an honest way. The guys at AZ automasters did a great job and they really know what they are doing.

  I found Automasters a couple of years ago, because yes, I bought a Z28 and wanted someone who knew how to work on it. Being pleased with the service on the Z, when the local Ford dealership (which will remain unnamed) wanted nearly $1,000 to replace a faulty alternator, I asked these guys if they would work on a Ford.They replaced it for less than half of what the dealership wanted. Life has been good since. Yes, I'm more than willing to drive 15 miles to have them service and repair my cars (all of them), even for an oil change (like today). Why? I trust them. If they say it's broken--it's broken. Several times since the Faulty Ford Failure when the dealerships (Ford and Chevy now) have assured me the vehicle would blow up if they didn't fix it right away, Automasters has either fixed it for a fraction of the price, or told me the truth about the problem (which in some cases was, "Don't worry about it! It doesn't need to be replaced!").

We received a call an hour later to say that they had found a steering shaft was in need of replacement. They found the part right away and for a very fair price.   Let me first start of by saying im a young female who doesnt know much about cars so i feel as though whenever i take my car to a shop they know this and take advantage of the situation. I recently had some electrical issues going on with my neon and I took my car to 2 different places for which i was charged diagnostic time and the problem was not even solved or found. one of the places said they needed to get under my dashbord to fix the problem and the total bill would be $678 and thats IF the issue was what they thought it was! Frustrated I started to look elsewhere for someone who could actually solve this issue I stummbled across this web site and found AZ AUTOMASTERS. I decided then to get a third oppinion before i spent this kind of money for an issue that may or may not be.. To make a long story short when i took it in not only did AZ AUTOMASTERS find the problem, the owner personally talked to me and explained that the issue i was having was a loose wire and only charged me $20!!!!My jaw just about hit the floor! this makes me wonder how many times I have been ripped off and taken advantage of! As far as im concerned I will NEVER go anywhere else- I feel i finally found an HONEST shop where i can take my car and trust that it is in good hands and be treated fairly! COOODOS AZ AUTOMASTERS..   I have been taking my car to Automasters for 10 years and I won't ever take it anywhere else. I have been ripped off for thousands of dollars at Goodyear and Firestone and had my car breakdown a week later. At Automasters the owner always treats me fairly, goes out of his way to get me the best price and my car runs great with no problems, afterwards. If you want to be treated fairly and not taken advantage of (especially if you are a female) this is the place to go.

  Hi, I am a single mom and recently had issues with the transmission in my car. It was acting very erratic and slamming into gears. It was also very sluggish. I went to a local transmission shop and they checked it while I waited. They said it needed a complete rebuild for just over $2000. Not only could I not afford it, I had a bad feeling about them, so I decided to shop around. I then went to a local chain shop that has like 20 locations, and they charged me $ 95 to check it out. They told me it had electrical issues, but they needed more time to figure it out. They said it would be around $ 980 to repair it if it was what they thought it was, but that I didn't need a rebuild. Now I wasn't sure what to think. I told a friend about all this and she said to check out garage fly, so I did a search for a shop close to my job, for yet another opinion. I called Mike at automasters, and he said to bring it by and they would do an initial inspection for free. They dropped me off at work first thing in the morning, and by 10 George, their service manager called me and said they knew what was wrong. It needed some new seleniods, fresh fluid and some gaskets. He explained everything to me very clearly & told me they could fix it before I got out of work. They charged me $471. for the entire repair! They picked me up from work, and the car works better than it has in a long time. WOW ! Can't say enough about the high quality of service. Looks like I found an honest shop, that is affordable too. They have won me as a long term customer. I highly recommend these guys. WOW!

  AZ Automasters has provided the best auto repair/maintanence service I've ever experienced. So far they've worked on our minivan, Audi, and TransAm. Everything from: cooling repairs, oil changes, transmission services, tire replacement/rotation, brakes...and then some. On my Chevy Uplander minivan, oil changes run less than $23 with a filter change and include a vehicle service inspection. The vehicle(s) always come back as clean as when I drop them off. Oh yea, and rarely is anything not completed the same day I drop any of our vehicles off. AZ Automasters is the only place any of our vehicles go anymore. Plus, they never try to force anything they find that will need to be repaired in the near future. They tell me about it, and how long it should last, and simply say to let them know whenever I'ld like it taken care of. Can't say enough good about their Top Notch Service and Repair! We've been dealing with them for at least +4 years now. Obviously I highly recommend them!

  My husband and I have recently moved to the area from out of state.. my car failed the emissions test because the service engine soon light was on and two codes came up on the computer.. I needed to find a dependable place to take my car and not knowing many people in the area I searched the internet and found garagefly.. and came up with AZ Automasters.. they found what was causing the problems and repaired them within the day so I was able to get my car tested again and it passed with flying colors.. thanks guys! you did an awesome job!

  Have you had to go to a shop multiple times and/or multiple shops and still not get your the problem with your car handled? Well this happened to me, and let me tell you, the last couple months have been very stressful and painful. I went to three different shops more than once to each shop at various locations around the valley to fix a vibration problem that I was experiencing and the problem was getting worse. I spent money to have all of the following replaced the shocks and struts replaced, a new alluminum drive shaft, all four tires, all the wheel and axle bearings, the transmission mount, an axle from the rear end, and all of the U-Joints, because the other shops I went to said that this part is the reason for your vibration and when we replace them, then the problem will be gone for sure. After spending thousands of dollars with all the parts above replaced and all of the labor, I still the problem was it was getting worse instead of gone. What is going on here? Are the shops I am going to in business to help people or just make money? I was so frustrated until a friend from work told me about Arizona Auto Masters. It's a miracle. I finally found a shop that diagnoises the actual problem the first time and got rid of my vibration problem. The whole time the rear part of the transmission case and the output shaft of the transmission were cracking and over time was getting worse and was near breaking altogether. Arizona Auto Masters found the problem the first time and got rid of my problem for good and for a great amount of money less by far compared to all the money I spent at the other shops and got nowhere. Now, I can actually enjoy driving my car instead of wondering if something was going to break on it at any moment and leave me stranded in the heat of the summer. Thanks again Arizona Auto Masters.
