The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to helping consumers find competent automotive services. Its mission is to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service through the testing and certification of repair and service professionals. ASE-certified professionals wear the blue and white ASE insignia which indicates they have passed ASI exams in their expertise area and have two or more years' relevant work experience.
